Popular singer ,wutah kobby have reported being scammed by someone who claims to be a staff at MTN mobile money Department.
According to wutah kobby, he was relaxing in his home one afternoon and he received an SMS stating that, 500 GH have been credited into his MoMo account. Later another SMS came and stated ,his MoMo account has been blocked.
A few minutes later, he had a phone call from a strange number. He picked up the phone call and to his surprise, a wonderful man from MTN MoMo office who claimed he is a staff at MTN office told him his MoMo account has been locked and he needs to follow all the steps he will tell him in order to re-open the account for him.
Wutah kobby being the most wise musician, he started recording all the conversation for evidence sake.
