A Plus is known for his involvement in both music and politics. It’s great to see public figures taking initiative in infrastructure development. Road construction can have a significant impact on local communities and transportation.

On his Facebook timeline, A plus posted a project he has done and the new projects his embarkong on , of which he has started construction of road to connect two sisters town ( Gomoa Dahmen and Gomoah Gyaman ) in his constituency in the central region of the republic of Ghana. Below is what he posted on his Facebook timeline.

“During my first visit to Gomoa Dahmen, the chief, Nana Kwa Pra and his elders spoke to me at length about the socio-economic benefits of constructing a road to link Gomoa Dahom with Gomoa Gyaman.

They took me to a place overlooking a vast forest and demanded that I promise to ensure that a road will be constructed to link both communities when elected as MP. Then I said to them, from my own pocket, I will complete this project before the 2024 election. I’m not here to make promises. I’m here to deliver before I promise to do more when elected.

I knew they didn’t believe me. Of course they didn’t have to believe me because even I didn’t trust that pocket I was referring to 😂😂😂😂😂 But there is something special I have pocketed for many years – the almighty God! The God of my ancestors, Ɔbosomfoɔ Kwaku Duku, Nana Kwesi Dankwah aka Ɔrobɔn Dankwah, and the God of Apimadze; I knew I will do it, effortlessly!

Today, I’m happy to inform you that we have began the construction of a road linking both communities for the first time in 329 years. By Monday, the people of Gomoa Dahom and Gomoa Gyaman will be able to commute directly.

Our politicians know the plight of the people. And like Charlie Chaplin said, the politicians know that the people are expecting a new world – a decent world that will give men a chance to work – that will give the youth a future and old age a security. They take advantage of the people’s expectations and promise the aforesaid. This is how in the name of democracy, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfil that promise. They never will!

He went on to say that, “the misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed. The bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish.”

I’ve ensured that the people of Abamkrom have potable water 🚰. I’ve ensured that the people of Kwame Adwer have potable water and an information center. I’ve ensured that the people of Ofaso have potable water. I’ve ensured that the people of Dahom have potable water. I’ve ensured that the people of Gyaman have potable water 🚰.

I’ve ensure that many people in Asebu and Pomadze have been registered on the National health insurance scheme. I’ve ensure that the road to Chapess is motorable. I’ve given the people of Gomoa Dahom a new information center. I’ve given start-up capital to 30 seamstresses. I’ve financed the building of a new public toilet for Gomoa Nyakuadze. All the aforesaid is just part of my warm-up.

I’m not your normal politician who makes promises, uses you, gets your votes, then turn back and abuse you. I’m here to build a new Gomoa Central as a pilot project for the building of a new Ghana.”

This initiative by A plus has brought a great happiness to his constituents although he’s not the sitting member of Parliament. God bless A plus, God bless Gomoa.
