The Ministry of Finance has officially announced that the presentation of Ghana’s 2026 National Budget will take place on Thursday, 13th November 2025, under the theme:

“Through your resilience and sacrifice, we have stabilised the economy. Now, it’s time to grow, to transform, and to build the Ghana We Want.”

This year’s budget presentation marks a critical moment in Ghana’s economic journey as the government expresses its renewed commitment to sustainable growth, economic transformation, and inclusive development after years of structural and fiscal challenges.

According to the Minister of Finance, the 2026 Budget will focus on consolidating the gains made in stabilising the economy while implementing strategic measures to stimulate growth across key sectors such as agriculture, industry, and technology. The Minister noted that the government remains fully committed to ensuring fiscal discipline, promoting job creation, and improving the standard of living for Ghanaians.

“Through your resilience and sacrifice, we have stabilised the economy. Now, it’s time to grow, to transform, and to build the Ghana We Want,” the Minister stated, highlighting the government’s appreciation for the perseverance of citizens during difficult economic times.

The upcoming budget is expected to outline new policy directions aimed at strengthening local production, enhancing export capacity, and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) — key drivers of Ghana’s economic recovery and future stability.

The Ministry of Finance also reaffirmed its dedication to creating a more transparent and accountable financial environment, ensuring that every investment contributes to the nation’s broader development agenda.

As anticipation builds ahead of the 2026 Budget presentation, citizens, investors, and development partners are eager to see how the government’s strategies will translate into tangible growth, innovation, and prosperity for all.

With the theme emphasizing resilience, transformation, and collective progress, the 2026 Budget stands as a promise — a vision to build “the Ghana We Want.
