Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has opened up about how she would handle money matters in a relationship, saying she would take charge if she ends up dating a man who earns less than her.
Speaking on the Wahala podcast, the “Bloody Samaritan” singer said that even if she is the richer partner, she would still expect the man to provide for her. She added that she would keep her true financial worth a secret from him.
IN HER WORDS: “IF I DATE A MAN WHO I AM RICHER THAN, I WILL CONTROL HIM. BUT EVEN IF I AM RICHER, HE WILL STILL BE PROVIDING, AND I WON’T LET HIM KNOW I HAVE A LOT OF MONEY.”
